Here’s a quick rundown on the peregrine nesting situation as a of 5/26/2015 at select areas. As always, if a peregrine is aggressive toward you consider leaving the area regardless of closure status. If a cliff is not listed, there is no ban in effect.

Bolton Notch – Upper Upper West (Bolton) – pair present and appears to be favoring a new ledge on the upper cliff. Cliff is closed to climbing. (J LoCicero, M Fowle)
Bone Mt (Bolton) – reports of pair present by rock climbers; single bird observed in early and late May (M Fowle)
Smuggler’s Notch (Cambridge) – pair present; no confirmation of nesting location (J York)
Snake Mt (Addison) – pair present, but was not observed on a recent visit. Southern cliff top is closed (R Payne).
